- AAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Sorry. That's what goes there then. Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty. I'm a little obsessed with her as the coolest Disney villain and one of the coolest chick villains ever, of all time, anywhere.

She should be mega-hot. Someday I'll do this costume. (twilitesea , i'm looking in your direction....)

- This is apparently a Murder by Death song, I think it's the one about gypsies. It's pretty self explanatory, I like to get tarted up and cause trouble places I should not.

 - LULZZZZ. Source - me. I played through Final Fantasy VII giving all the characters dumb names cause I was like 13. I named Cloud "Im gay and" and Red XIII "Fluffy." The Cloud thing was really funny when I was 13 cause it was like "I'm gay and : we have to find Sephiroth!" "I'm gay and : ....Tifa." "I'm gay and : Let's Mosey!" So at one point Cloud is like "Red XIII!!" But what I got was "I'm gay and : Fluffy!!!" And that was just about the funniest thing ever to me. COME ON IT WAS LIKE 10 YEARS AGO JUST GO AHEAD AND JUDGE ME FOR MY DIGITAL HATE CRIME.

- Oh riiiight. This is apparently Cassandra from The Trojan Women, which Blake and I saw together. I'm guessing this means I kind of revel in the fact that I'm sort of a whack-Scorpio witch, or it could be a reference to the fact that the first time Blake and I met, I was playing my old LARP character, who was kind of a total Cassandra - totally nuts, and no one believed her, even after one of the Super God Knowitall NPCs of the World told her she was the only mortal he'd ever talked to that approached 'getting it.' Ah well. :D She was fun.

- Esmerelda!! From Hunchback of Notre Dame. She's another Disney favorite of mine. I've got some pretty obvious gypsy roots, and I'm also going to hope that this means Blake thinks I'm a generous and caring person. I'm also kind of crazy about defending other 'outcasts' like myself - in my 'old age' (lol23) i've gotten used to letting my 'freak flag' fly. :D

This is one of those quotes Blake and i kind of touch toes and give each other makeouty looks about whenever we watch this movie. >:3 It's pretty hot and I wish I was Gail a lot, but only if Blake could be my Dwight and we could OWN SOME FACE and look perfect all the time. See also : I'm crazy.

- Souji boy, tell 'em. Souji Mikage, Utena. adfshdfljsf utena. My fangirl obsession. i'm actually not sure why Blake picked this quote, though! I do have some really great memories, though, my life is a pretty charmed one, and I hope it stays that way.

1) SCORPION - Bahahaa. Well Scorpion Clan, from L5R of course. My favorite. But they're my favorite because I'm a Scorpio and I'm kind of into that. I have a little bit of healthy pride about being good at Scorpion Things when i want/need to be, but also a lot of healthy shame being being a Scorpio makes you balls-to-the-wall crazy in some ways that can't really be helped, lol. :D

2) Greek - If ever I were born in the wrong place....(see also : India.) I have a fascination/obsession with Greece and its culture, and specifically religiously. I'm an eclectic witch, I follow a lot of Gods from a lot of Lands, but my 'patrons' are Greek - Dionysos and Aphrodite. I dig them, their families, their home, and their FOOD!!!

3) Utena - BAWWWWWWWw. My favorite anime, and one of my favorite stories from any medium ever. Specifically the main character like pulls at my heart in a serious way, because that's kind of me - I'm not a wicked Witch, and I'm not a pretty Princess. But I'm strong, I think, maybe like a Prince. :) I don't want someone to protect me, I want to protect me, and you, and everyone else I think needs it. Though sometimes I'm loud and messy and violent about it. (See other heroes : Scarlett O'Hara, Vito Corleone, etc.)

Earlier this week Blake had me sit down and watch the entirety of The Godfather for the first time. (I know, I know, I'm 23 years old, what the hell is wrong with me, do i live under a rock, etc.) Anyway, I LOVED it, and we're at his dad's house in NC now by ourselves. Blake remembers on the car ride down that his parents have The Godfather box set, and I can watch Part II, which is lauded by many to be EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST SOMEHOW.

Part II is 2 DVDs long.

It isn't until the end of Disc 1 that I notice Disc 2 isn't in there.

It's not anywhere. ANYWHERE

Good morning LJ! FFF I wish I had pictures for you because I actually had a super great weekend full of productivity   with a really productive Sunday and it was super great and fun and I needed it because this week made me want to swallow a Frisbee.

Costume progress words words words:

Yoruichi-taichou - Started and finished her...'shirt' last night. Shirt. That's funny. It's like. a boobkerchief. And started ironing and stitching and mending and dying Blake's old crappy pair of black hakama because i'm a lazy ass and don't want to make my own. But they look good! A little dye and starch, and like I have to gather the bottoms anyway because they're crazy ninja hakama (???!!) and for some reason are gathered at the bottom. Still need to style her wig, sew my gauntlets and leg pieces, and ROLL MY BODY IN CARAMEL spray tan.

Bulma - Finished her dress and scarf on Friday, did most of her boots Saturday and Sunday. Need to paint details on boot armor, (wtf boot armor) make sock-tops, and style her wig WHENEVER IT SHOWS UP. You have like. a day, Professionalonly, before Strongly Worded Letters happen. And when my hat comes in I'll do that :D

Mia - Haven't touched this since Katsucon, lol. I should probably pull it out and put the finishing touches on it. Pink nightgown+boots ftw. Will probably brush out and try and use the slightly uggo curly wig i bought because the Mars wig will be worn by inject so I'm glad I have a backup.

Mars - Drive over it with my car before giving to inject so she won't wear it cause she's going to look like a billion dollars in it and i am just going to cry and follow her creepily and cry again. XD XD XD  Yup.

Hi Livejournal! 3-day weekend so far is pretty awesome. Woke up this morning to Blake coming back from Kenjutsu, we promptly switched places, he went back to bed to work on his E P I C AMV entry for AMA (no spoilers, seriously but like. Kevin - this was made for you and me dogg, I know you don't read LJ but my your waifu will relay this to you - you are gonna J- yourself. I did.) and I woke up and went to the gym and did cardio while watching Band of Brothers (i'm such a gaywad for that show. No seriously, I want to like. Cosplay it. JESUS THESE WERE LIKE REAL PEOPLE what is wrong with me. it's so good.) and then went and laid by the pool and eavesdropped on weirdos who talk too loudly about personal stuff and their weird relationships read Gone with the Wind (THANK YOU caffeine_monkey I LOVE IT SO MUCH i seriously love you with my mouth, aaauugh, I'm loving the book so hard.) and then i came back anddd.....god like. Lost an hour of my life to Katamari Damacy and texting strawbrrysprite about her awful realtor, then went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

And now I'm posting this mostly because I was playing WoW and my stupid UI did this thing it does when I d/E stuff and gets stuck looting, so i had to restart, and while I did I got distracted and decided to post this thing i found on bad_everything:

hello! updating from my phone, on the shuttle on my way to work. car is in the shop again. AGAIN! google maps directed me down an unpaved road and I broke the front of my oil pan. thank god the engine didn't seize up. here's to hoping it's easily fixed.

god, it is so a sign that I work for somewhere mildly evil when the shuttle buses have wireless. I'm guessing it's not so we can check our LJs. 'never stop working ever kthx!' ;~;

wanderlust was SO fun. staff did an excellent job, kate you were SO cool, best first time larper ever. now that that's out of my head I can go back to my other loves ~ cosplay and daydreaming about the wedding. hoshit cosplay, I have a lot to do.
